If you find your forum is outgrowing your server, and you can t change the server situation, pruning is a very useful feature. General Administration Options The following are the links listed under General Admin in the navigation pane: Backup Database: phpBB comes bundled with a backup feature that permits you to save the contents of your forums to a text file that can be easily restored by your database server. Configuration: The Configuration panel is another workhorse as administration panels go, particularly during your initial setup phase. Styles Administration Options The following are the links listed under Styles Admin in the navigation pane: Add: You can add newly uploaded styles to your database using this function. It automatically looks in your templates directory on the server, determines which styles are available to be installed, and adds them to a list that lets you add them to the database.
